The mission of the YMCA of Florida's First Coast is "To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all." With 17 facility locations and 65 different program locations in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns Counties, we are the First Coast's largest community service organization. Through programs that emphasize our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, the YMCA is helping to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

Together, YMCAs make up the largest not-for-profit community service organizations in America, working to meet the health and social service needs of 18.9 million men, women and children in 10,000 communities in the United States. Ys are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. No one is turned away for their inability to pay. YMCAs' strength is in the people they bring together. Ys meet local community needs through organized activities called programs. In its own way, every Y nurtures the healthy development of children and teens; strengthens families; and makes its community a healthier, safer, better place to live.
