CONSULTATIONS
Do you need motivation? Does your workout need to be
re-energized? Or do you just need new exercises to
rejuvenate your workouts? We provide free
consultations to assess whether or not the personal training
program is right for you.
PERSONAL
TRAINING
The YMCA has certified Personal Trainers for more in
depth one-on-one attention. The cost is $45 for one session
or $400 for 10 sessions.

"It was in the year 2003 when I had to
have a knee replacement due to arthritis. This surgery
really put a cramp in my lifestyle and prohibited me to do
the activities that I always enjoyed doing. It seemed liked
everything was a big chore for me. Working in my gardens was
just about impossible, and getting in and out of my car was excruciating. I had to come to terms with this disability
and accept the fact that my active life style had come to an
end.
Then, one day I had received a letter from my insurance
company recommending me to get involved in a daily exercise
program. They suggested that I check into the YMCA and so I
did. I was really impressed when they took complete interest
in my condition and me and signed up for their senior
exercise program. I thought to myself that this really
wasn’t going to help me but I would give it a try.
Six months later I couldn’t believe the change in the way my
knee was feeling and the way I was feeling. Getting in and
out of my car was a piece a piece of cake, and bending over
to work in my gardens was a breeze now. My counselor is
incredible and brought my active lifestyle back to me.
I am so convinced that this program at the YMCA has been a
godsend for me. I decided to join a few more classes; I now
do Yoga and am getting ready for this summer for some
aquatic aerobics. Joining the YMCA was the best thing I
could have done for myself. I have met many new friends and
have better my health for a more active lifestyle I am
seventy-eight and feel ten tears younger. Take it from me,
Bessie Martin, that joining the YMCA is the best thing you
can do for yourself and for your family."

GROUP EXERCISE
We offer 25+ group exercise classes per week. You’re sure to find something that fits in with your busy schedule and helps you reach your personal goals. Classes include Step, Y-Cycle, Silver Sneakers, Cardio Funk, Power Pump, Power Yoga, Pilates, Abs & Stretch, Kickboxing, and Stability Ball. Don’t forget to check out our most recent addition: BOOT CAMP (basic training).
Y-EXPRESS
This program is for the exerciser that wants to get in
and out. It’s simple and great, just make an appointment,
and we will take you through nine machines to get you
started. We will set up your workout plan on paper so you
can track your progress as you continue toward reaching your
personal goals. This program is perfect if you only have 30
minutes or a quick lunch break to grab a workout!

CHALLENGES
The YMCA Wellness Department has great Fitness Challenges to motivate you and maintain your interest in an active, healthy lifestyle. Periodically ask our front desk for the latest information regarding our current and upcoming challenges and look for our monthly newsletter.
KARAOKE CYCLE
Join in on the fun! If you like to cycle and are
a fan of singing, this is your class. Class flies by as
wellness staff head up singing your favorite songs while you
spin. Follow along and try your hand at the mic if you like.
Classes are filling up fast so come check it out.
