Welcome to the YMCA at the Bank of America Tower!

Our Facility

You'll have access to a state-of-the-art facility conveniently located in downtown Jacksonville in the lower level of the Bank of America Tower.

You asked for cardio in the evening, we listened. For a limited time, we are offering Y-Cycle on Tuesday nights and Cardio Kickboxing on Thursday nights to help spice up your workouts. Each class is immediately following our 15 minute "No More Ab Flab" Class. Stop by and give them both a try.

John E Ford School Outreach Program

  • Over 35 students, in grades 2nd through 5th, receive Mentoring on a weekly basis from a corporate volunteer in the Downtown area.
  • Over 50 students, in various grades, receive Team Tutoring on a weekly basis in the areas of Math and Reading
  • Over 300 students per week, from some of the most violent and crime-ridden neighborhoods in Jacksonville, participate in character development classes at this school from an on site YMCA Outreach Director.

Mentee: Deja Foster, 5th Grade
Mentor: Tracee Young, Regency Centers

This is the 2nd year that they have been matched at John E. Ford School through our Outreach Program.

Through gifts from the Share the Y campaign, fifth-grader Deja Foster has worked with Mentor Tracee Young at the John E. Ford School. "My relationship with Ms. Tracee is so important because if I need help, she is by my side and if she needs help, I am by her side. It makes me excited each week when we meet. Ms. Tracee plays games with me and she helps me with my work if I do not finish it, or if I do not understand my math. When we play games, sometimes we talk about my grades or my progress reports. I am really thankful to have her as my friend." Click here to learn more!
