We know that dads and their daughters have a relationship unlike any other. That’s why we’re inviting all dads to bring their daughters to the Y on Saturday, March 3 from 7:00-9:00pm for a night to remember. We will provide the food, music and a souvenir photo. Youth In Government

Youth In Government

Let your voice be heard. Our Youth In Government (YIG) program gives high school students the chance to learn first-hand how our state government operates all while earning college credit. You Can Take Control

You Can Take Control

Did you know that 1 in 3 adult Americans is at high risk for diabetes? Our Diabetes Prevention Program is a 24-session class to help participants learn about healthier eating, physical activity and other behavior changes to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. The class at the Bacro-Newton Family YMCA launches on Monday, February 13 and will meet Mondays from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Homeschool PE

Youth Fit for Life™ (YFFL) is a physical activity and healthy behaviors program specifically designed for elementary-aged children. Through an assortment of team building, life-skills exercises and physical activities that help build strength, endurance and flexibility, children will have fun developing healthy habits that will last a lifetime. YFFL and Home School PE is now available at the Barco-Newton Family YMCA. The program runs January 16 - May 11. Classes will meet Monday and Wednesday, 1:15pm-2:45pm.
