Picnic Palooza
Get out with the family and learn how to pack a healthy and delicious picnic for this summer. Our very own dietician, Jenna Braddock, and culinary wizard Ryder are hosting a cooking class at Whole Foods Market on Tuesday, May 22 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm to show you how to get the best nutrient bang out of your summer entertainment. The night's menu includes open-faced curry chicken sandwiches, grilled watermelon and chilled asparagus salad. The cost is just $12, and registration is required. Call 288-1100 to reserve your spot.
You Can Take Control
Did you know that 1 in 3 adult Americans is at high risk for diabetes? A new class is launching at the Williams Family YMCA on Tuesday, May 29. For more information or to see if you qualify, visit Member Services or contact Lisa Peabody.
