ActivTrax Challenge

For the entire month of February, we will host our first ActivTrax based Wellness Challenge! This challenge is designed to keep you motivated and on-track with those resolutions you made for the New Year. You can accumulate points just by using ActivTrax, but you have to be using it in order to take part in this challenge. To learn more or get started, speak with a member of our Wellness Team. Don't miss out because the fun begins February 1.

This spring, come to the Y to improve your volleyball skills, make new friends and gain self-confidence. Our Girls' Spring Volleyball is available for ages 7-16. Registration opens for members January 30, is available to the public February 3 and ends February 23. Stop by Member Services or register online.

Quckstart Tennis

Quckstart Tennis

Come to the Y for an exciting new program that adapts tennis regulations to be age-appropriate and more exciting for children, ages 5 - 9. Quickstart Tennis is designed just for kids by utilizing smaller rackets, slower and lighter balls, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring, all tailored to the age and size of the child. Men's Basketball League

Men's Basketball League

At the Y, we believe that sports aren't just for kids. That's why we're offering a Men's Basketball League at the Winston Y for you to show off your skills and make new friends. Registration is now open and runs through March 1. Games will be held on Sundays, March 11 - May 6. To learn more and sign up your team, contact Tara Weaver or stop by Member Services.

TRX Suspension Training

TRX Suspension Training

TRX is a method of training that incorporates body weight exercises that simultaneously builds strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability. Classes are now available at the Winston Family YMCA. Visit Member Services to register for a TRX package, only $99 for 8 sessions. Group classes are available on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30-9:30am or by appointment with Amber. Email amotta@firstcoastymca.org to set up a training time today!

Mom's Morning Out

Mom's Morning Out

We know that moms work hard raising their families. That's why we offer all moms a morning out! We'll provide quality care for your children to enjoy play time and be in a safe and secure environment while you enjoy a morning off! Join us every month on the first and third Friday from 8:00-11:00am as we give thanks to our moms! Cost is $20 for members and $40 for non-members. Space is limited, so stop Member Services for more information.

Join us for a workout that's sure to spice up your routine. We are adding a new Zumba class to our group exercise schedule in February. Valentine's Day Blood Drive

Valentine's Day Blood Drive

We are partnering with the Blood Alliance once again, and the Bloodmobile will be at the Winston Y for donations on Tuesday, February 14 , from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Registration is available online at igiveblood.com. Walk-in appointments the day of the drive are also welcome. Your pint of blood can save up to three lives! Don't forget to bring your driver's license, you must be at least 17-years-old and weigh at least 110 lbs in order to donate.
