Ladies, mark your calendar for Thursday, May24! Ladies' Night will be held in the Yates Family YMCA gym from 4:30pm-7:30pm and will include dozens of booths featuring food and sweet treats, massages, exercise demos, health screenings, salon experts and much more. Bring your business card to drop in the raffle bowl for a chance to win great door prizes. The event is free and open to the public, so invite your friends, neighbors, and family!

You Can Take Control

Did you know that 1 in 3 adult Americans is at high risk for diabetes? Our Diabetes Prevention Program is a 24-session class to help participants learn about healthier eating, physical activity and other behavior changes to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. A new class is launching at the Brooks Family YMCA on Saturday, June 23. For more information or to see if you qualify, visit Member Services or contact Lisa Peabody.

Learn to Swim at the Y

Join us at the Y this summer to swim here and stay afloat. Our youth swim lessons teach personal water safety, stroke development, water sports and games, rescue and personal growth skills to help kids feel more confident and safe in and around the water.
