Brooks Family YMCA Community Outreach

The YMCA’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. And our Strong Kids scholarship fund makes it possible for everyone who wants the Y experience to have it, regardless of financial circumstances. The annual Strong Kids Campaign funds member scholarships, camp experiences and extends the Y’s reach into our schools. Your contributions are critical to continuing this important initiative.

What is Strong Kids?

"Strong Kid” is the YMCA’s Annual Fundraising Campaign. It is the YMCA’s belief that all children and families should have the same basic opportunities that others have, regardless of ability to pay. The Strong Kids campaign makes this happen. This is an organized effort by a group of committed community volunteers to raise funds so that children and families in Clay County do not have to go without essential character building programs.

The YMCA offers sliding scale financial assistance for its programs, including:

Before and After School Care
Summer and Holiday Day Camp
Soccer, Basketball and Flag Football
Membership Services
Swim Lessons

Please contact a YMCA staff member if you would like to know more about the Strong Kids Campaign.
