Camp Immokalee 2014

At the Y, we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Our Resident Camp provides an exciting, safe community for campers, ages 7-15, to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills and make lasting friendships and memories.

Each day at camp is an exciting new adventure filled with memories that can only be experienced at a YMCA camp. Activities range from leadership development to sports to arts and everything in between. Underlying all the fun is a strong tradition of sharing, cooperation and fellowship. But don't take our word for it – watch the video below and let our campers speak for themselves.

Open House on May 3, 1:00pm - 6:00pm

A hotdog or hamburger meal with chips and a canned drink will also be available for $3.00.

This family fun event is FREE and open to the entire community, so bring a friend or two or three. And if your kids decide that they just can’t get enough, you can register them for a full week at camp for just $530.

Our upcoming camp sessions will feature a wide range of activities and themes for a week that's a perfect fit to your summer adventure. 

Week 1: June 15 - 20
“Olympics”

Start your summer off with some friendly competition as we take part in our own version of the Olympics! Go for gold as we play Olympic-themed games and activities all week long. Stay for weeks 1 and 2 and add the Super Saturday trip to Busch Gardens on June 21.

Week 2: June 22 - 27
“Pirates vs. Zombies”

Avast! Get ready for some swashbuckling adventures and sail the high seas of Lake Brooklyn as we defend our camp from the crazed zombies! Stay for weeks 1 and 2 and add the Super Saturday trip to Busch Gardens on June 21.

NO CAMP June 29 - July 4

Week 3: July 6 - 11
“Holiday Week”

Your favorite holidays are all rolled into one week! Nowhere else can you start your week off with a Valentine from a beloved friend, go on an Easter egg hunt the next day, and end with a big bang as we celebrate the New Year! Stay for weeks 2 and 3 and add the Super Saturday trip to SeaWorld on July 12.

Week 4: July 13 - 18
“Wet N Wild”

Theres no better way to cool off a hot Florida summer than to get wet! This week will be full of wild and crazy aquatic activities that will be sure to quench your thirst for fun. Stay for weeks 2 and 3 and add the Super Saturday trip to SeaWorld on July 12.

Week 5: July 27 - August 1
“Color Wars”

Join us for the competition of all time – the First Annual Camp Immokalee Color Wars! Campers and staff will join teams and compete in challenges throughout the week with one goal in mind – to win the sacred Camp Immokalee Color Wars Trophy and bragging rights for the next year! Who will come out on top? There is only one way to find out. Stay for weeks 5 and 6 and add the Super Saturday trip to Islands of Adventure on August 2.

Week 6: August 3 - 8
“Harry Potter”

Are you a wizard or a muggle? Find out during Harry Potter week at Camp Immokalee where you'll be transported to the magical world of Hogwarts. Stay for weeks 5 and 6 and add the Super Saturday trip to Islands of Adventure on August 2.

Counselor In Training (CIT) Program

Campers interested in becoming a counselor at Camp Immokalee can take part in our year-round Counselor In Training (CIT) program, available for ages 16-17 years, designed to mold young men and women into the future leaders at camp. Learn more about our CIT program by clicking here.
