In the News: Y’s Renewed Gym Is Stuff Of Dreams
The floor is the stuff of dreams, but the story of how it got here is equally so. The YMCA Strong Kids annual campaign was about to launch at the same time the Y found out about the NBA-quality maple floor. The floor came to St. Augustine from a donation to the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast, headquartered in Jacksonville. Valued at $600,000-plus the floor was a surprise opportunity.
