Local Man Inspires Others After Life Altering Medical Complications
Channel 4 (WJXT) aired this story about Eddie Morgan, a member at the Johnson Family YMCA in Northwest Jacksonville, on January 12, 2010 during the 7:00am newscast.
A simultaneous heart attack and stroke nearly cost Eddie his life a few years ago. In the midst of this life-altering scare, Eddie says his right foot turned black. Doctors later diagnosed him with diabetes. While surgeons were able to save his life, they were not able to save his right foot.
