Dec 17, 2009: JEA Makes Christmas Brighter For YMCA Children

duPont Family YMCA - Thursday, December 17th at 7:00pm

More than 50 local children will receive brand new toys for Christmas thanks to the St. Johns River Power Park, a subsidiary of JEA. These children, all of whom are YMCA program participants, were selected based on need.

All of the toys were donated thanks to the generosity of the employees of the St. Johns River Power Park, many of whom, also gave of their time for this cause.

On Thursday, December 17th at 7:00pm, all children and their families will be invited to the duPont Family YMCA Campus, 7373 Old Kings Road South, to un-wrap their new bikes, scooters, cameras, games, dolls, clothes, and more!

For 15 years, this partnership between the YMCA and JEA has given local families the chance to have a fulfilling and memorable Christmas morning, an experience they could not have afforded otherwise.
