Dec 21, 2009: Kids Get Fit With Circus Fit
Dye Clay Family YMCA – Tuesday, December 22nd at 10am
More than 125 local children will learn to juggle, jump rope, and hula hoop their way to fitness with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Fit on Tuesday, December 22nd at 10am at the Dye Clay Family YMCA in Orange Park.
Circus Fit is designed to encourage children to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, all while having fun. Various stations will be set up where the children will be instructed by clowns on different circus tricks, including how to make your own juggling ball.
“At the YMCA, we’re always encouraging an active lifestyle for both the young and the young at heart – Circus Fit just re-enforces our message in a fun, relatable way to children,” said Dorothy Barrell, Executive Director of the Clay & Baker County YMCAs.
