Thank you for visiting the James Weldon Johnson Family YMCA's website
Since opening its doors in the early 1950's, the Johnson Family YMCA has been a cornerstone of Jacksonville's culturally diverse north side. We, the staff and volunteers are committed to making it a center point of the community. The north side area is currently under going a tremendous change in population growth, with a goal to bringing its current and new residents together and forming a very strong community. We believe that the Johnson Family YMCA will be a vital part of this growth. We are more than just a place to work out; we are a place of fellowship and building lasting relationships.
The Johnson Family YMCA offer programs for all ages. Some of these programs include: youth sports, teen programs, floor aerobics, aqua aerobics, group cycling, fitness center, senior programs and much more.
The Johnson Family YMCA has long been a part of the Jacksonville community and continues to build on a rich tradition of service. We look forward to a bright future and we hope you will consider becoming a part of it by joining the YMCA and our Johnson family.
Sincerely,
Phillip B. Bryant
