Child Care
Kid Zone
We are pleased to offer Kid Zone to meet your child care
needs while you are using the South Metro Family YMCA
facilities. We strive to provide quality care for your child
in a safe, comfortable and fun-filled environment. In order
to ensure proper care for all children, please read the
operating guidelines listed below or download our Kid Zone
policies from the Download Center:
- Sign your child in upon arrival at
the Kid Zone and sign out upon departure. Please be sure
and leave your membership card as well as your child’s. If
you do not have it with you or if you are a guest please
obtain a temporary card from the front desk also remember
to leave a picture I.D. Children may not leave the Kid
Zone without the company of a parent or guardian. The
parent or guardian who signs the child in must be the one
who signs out. All bags, bottles and cups must be labeled
with your Child’s name. We prefer to have the children
wear nametags. It helps us identify your child and are
provided at check-in.
- Please, we ask only an Adult open
and close the gate when children are going in and out.
- There is a two-hour limit per stay
for all children. YOU MUST REMAIN ON THE PREMISES WHILE
YOUR CHILD IS IN THE KID ZONE. Parent’s Night Out (or
Drop & Shop during specified months) is the only
exception.
- Please make sure you have prepared a
bottle for your infant so if needed it is already
prepared.
- Please be sure your child is
healthy, fed, and dry before dropping them off.
- Please do not bring a sick child to
the Kid Zone (At Bottom of Sheet).
- Please be sure your child is dressed
appropriately, T-Shirt and shorts, shoes or weather
appropriate clothing. SHOES ARE A MUST
