Family Fun Night

Join us on Friday, July 17 from 6:30pm-8:30pm for a night packed with good ‘ole Southern fun and food for the entire family! We will have line dancing on the pool deck, a Best Dressed Southern Family contest, a corn hole tossing game, and a watermelon eating contest. Hamburgers, hotdogs, BBQ beans, watermelon, corn on the cob and iced tea or water will be available for sale at the cookout.

Family Boat Races: The Big Event

  • Teams must consist of one adult (16 years old and up) and one child (5-15 years old).
  • Children must be swim tested prior to races and only green or yellow level swimmers may participate.
  • Boat must be made by the team members and cannot include nails, surfboards, paper, paddles, or foam other than pool noodles.
  • Boat must fit in one pool lane.
  • Must sign up prior to Friday, July 17.

Eco-Adventure 2009: Campers making a difference

The YMCA’s Eco-Adventure Camp will be offered from June 8 through August 21. During this full-day camp, your child will learn to reduce, recycle, and reuse while having fun and making memories to last a lifetime! Swimming, eco-friendly adventures, and plenty of camp games and crafts are just a few activities that we have planned this summer. YMCA members join us for $115 per week and non-members join us for $120 per week, plus a $40 registration fee. For more information about this summer’s camp, click here. Stop by to register today!

Half-day Climbing Camp

Enjoy rock climbing, games and snacks at the South Metro Family YMCA from 7:30am-12:00pm. Campers may opt to finish off the day with extended day camp at the duPont Campus, which runs from 12:00pm to 6:30pm. The half-day camp at South Metro costs $75 per week and the optional extended day camp is an additional $75 per week. Click here for camp dates and details.
