YMCA Adventure Guides Statewide
“PowWow” and Princesses
Created more than 75 years ago, the YMCA Adventure Guides
program focuses on fostering companionship between fathers
and children ages 5 to 9 (K–4th grades).
With a strong emphasis on family, the program also allows
participants to experience nature, earn awards, meet other
children and parents and, of course, have loads of fun! With
the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and
responsibility providing direction to the program, parents
and their children enjoy a wide variety of positive
activities together.
